We had a leprechaun come to our house. He left some green footprints on the counter and then jumped out the window. But before he left he dropped some gold covered chocolates all over our house.
R woke up on St. Patricks day and was shocked to see the state of our counter-top. He quickly realized that the leprechaun was gone and that he and N had some candies to find. They had fun finding all of the chocolates and eating as many as they could before breakfast.

Cutest idea! I may have to borrow it for next year if that's o.k..
It was fun to be there on "green day" .....
Oh my gosh, what a cute idea... with the footprints from the leprechaun. The leprechaun comes to our house on St. Patty's day too, but only leaves three-leaf clovers saying "The Leprechaun's been to your house... find his pot of gold" -- and the kids search the house for gold candies. I love the fooprint idea though... I'll have to steal it next year! You are so creative on holidays!
